Getting the most from Datahub

 

Datahub features:

1) Search Page

 

The Asia Insurance DataHub provides hard core data on each of the insurance entities in Asia.

The following system options below are provided in the search page:

  1. Search feature The search feature is used to retrieve specific compan y records in the database.
  2. Industry filter The industry filter includes all insurance categories in the lists by default. Checking the provided options shall narrow down your search to a specific industry.
  3. Region filter The region filter include all markets by default. Checking the provided options, shall narrow down your search focus to a specific region.
  4. Country filter The country filter includes all territories by default, which covers 10 14 countries in the region.
  5. Compare Feature Click on this feature to add a company into the compare financial data page for further analysis with other companies.

2) Company Profile

The Company Profile page provides the following information:

  • Financial information: Access to the past 10 years’ premium information, turnover, share register,market cap, debt, extracts of annual report.
  • People: Full contacts details of all insurance companies in each relevant market.
  • News: Listing of the past 12 months of related articles to each company like insights, news, press releases, interviews, videos.

The following system options below are provided in the company profile page:

  1. Currency option - The currency option allows user to choose between the local and USD currency of the insurance company.
  2. Compare Feature - Click on this feature to add a company into the compare financial data page for further analysis with other companies.
  3. Financial Categories - By default, the system initially only includes financial figures for Gross Premium, Net Premium and Total Asset. User may choose to expand the financial data view by selecting all options available in the list.

3) Compare Companies and Markets

The Compare Company & markets page provides an analytical report Feature to compare financial information (e.g. gross premium, total assets, investment income, etc ) for various companies and countries in the database archives.

The following system options below are provided in this page:

  1. Add Company - Users can add as many companies into the compare view for analysis.
  2. Year selection - Users can choose a specific year from the past 10 years’ of financial information in the database.
  3. Financial Categories - By default, the system initially only include financial figures for Gross Premium, Net Premium and Total Asset. User may choose to expand the financial data view by selecting all options available in the list.

4) Ranking page

The Ranking Report page provides analytical ranking report feature to compare financial information within countries and the region in the database archives. These includes the projection of top companies and industries of a specific country and the region etc.

The following system options below are provided in this page:

  1. Year selection - User can choose a specific year from the past 10 years of financial information in the database.
  2. Financial Category - User can choose a specific year from the past 10 years’ of financial information in the database.
  3. Region filter - The region filter include all markets by default. Checking the provided options, shall narrow down your search focus to a specific region.
  4. Country filter - The Country filter includes all territories by default, which covers over 10-14 countries in the region.
  5. Industry filter - The industry filter includes all insurance categories in the lists by default. Checking the provided options shall narrow down your search to a specific industry.
